Dan jika tidak Dibayarkan atau dilunasi maka, siswa yang lulus seleksi dinyatakan gugur,” ujar salah satu wali murid kepada Media ini.
Hal tersebut pun diketahui biaya yang dipungut dari para wali murid untuk membiayai kebutuhan operasional sekolah selama satu tahun, termasuk untuk kebutuhan seragam siswa, hal tersebut terungkap saat rapat wali murid bersama komite dan pihak madrasah, kemarin usai pengumuman kelulusan. Rapat membahas tentang pembiayaan peserta didik baru jalur prestasi.

Pasal 21 Ayat 2 disebutkan pelaksanaan PPDB pada sekolah yang menerima bantuan operasional sekolah (BOS) tidak boleh memungut biaya, baik pungutan atau sumbangan. Namun, pungutan yang berkedok biaya daftar ulang yang dilazimkan disetiap momen tahun ajaran baru menjadi tradisi sekolah yang sulit dihilangkan.
Penarikan biaya daftar ulang siswa pun seolah dibenarkan meski Pasal 31 Permendikbud Nomor 44 Tahun 2019 menjelaskan daftar ulang dilakukan oleh calon peserta didik baru yang telah diterima hanya untuk memastikan statusnya sebagai peserta didik pada Madrasah yang bersangkutan. Pun daftar ulang yang dimaksud dengan menunjukkan dokumen asli yang dibutuhkan.
